FAQs

HOW LONG DOES THE VETTING PROCESS TAKE?

Generally, the screening process takes 30 days, although follow-up queries may extend the evaluation period. Applications are evaluated in groups rather than as they are received.

SHALL ALL PARTICIPANTS BE INVITED TO THE TRAINING WEBINAR?

No. Within the pool of evaluators, ICHE has categorized important areas of need. These domains include program expertise and areas of specialization (SR, ED, or DE). ICHE will prioritize program specialists, SR, ED, and DE evaluators in regions of greatest need.

I attempted to register, but the system informed me that I was already a member. WHAT DO I DO?

If you already have an account due to your association with a school, simply log in and select “Apply to be an Evaluator” before completing the required procedures.

I have relocated, changed jobs, and acquired new skills. HOW CAN THEY BE APPLIED TO MY EVALUATOR ACCOUNT?

Sign in to your account to update your addresses, particularly your mailing address, as this is where school materials and/or reimbursement checks will be mailed. As additional talents and/or degrees are acquired, a revised résumé should be sent to evaluators@icohe.org along with a description of the extra areas of competence requested to be added. If no more information is required, the relevant adjustments to your account will be performed after evaluation.

ARE EVALUATORS PAID?

The Commission appreciates the value of volunteer contribution and expresses its gratitude to the members of its review team through the provision of an honorarium. According to the Evaluator Travel Reimbursement Policy and Procedures, evaluators are also compensated for their visit-related travel expenses.

If you have more questions about the job of the evaluator, please contact evaluators@icohe.org.
